How Tutor LMS integrations work
Add-ons and their dependencies
In Tutor LMS Pro, integrations are add-ons you enable separately. Some need a companion plugin: BuddyPress for the BuddyPress add-on, WPML or Weglot for translation, Paid Memberships Pro, Restrict Content Pro or WooCommerce Subscriptions for their add-ons. The add-on list shows which plugins are required, and the add-on stays unavailable until they are present.
Live lessons
The Zoom add-on stores meetings as their own post type and attaches them to topics; Google Meet does the same with its own events. Both need API credentials from Zoom or Google. Google Classroom integration lets you import classes and provides a shortcode to list them. We set up the apps, permissions and tests so instructors can schedule sessions without help.
Extending an integration
When the built-in behaviour is not enough, for example sending a reminder before a live class or adding students to a BuddyPress group when they enroll, we use Tutor LMS events such as tutor_after_enrolled and the integration's own API to add it. See our integration guides.
