Tutor LMS Integrations: The Complete Guide
Every way to connect Tutor LMS to other tools: built-in integrations, Pro add-ons, page builders, CRMs, email, automation, analytics, SSO and custom APIs.
Checked against the plugin source: Tutor LMS 4.1.3, Tutor LMS Pro 4.1.3

A Tutor LMS site is rarely on its own. It sells through a store, sends students to an email list, reports to a CRM and sometimes signs people in with a company account. This guide sorts the integration options into three groups: what Tutor LMS includes, what Tutor LMS Pro adds, and what you connect yourself through plugins, automation tools or code.
Built into the free plugin
- WooCommerce and Easy Digital Downloads as eCommerce engines. Courses are linked to products and purchases enroll students. See selling with WooCommerce.
- Gutenberg: Tutor LMS registers blocks, and you can choose to edit courses with the block editor under Settings > Advanced.
- Video hosts: lessons accept YouTube, Vimeo, HTML5 uploads, external URLs, embed codes and shortcodes.
- SEO plugins: Tutor LMS 4 lists improved compatibility with Yoast SEO and Rank Math.
- REST API: read endpoints under
tutor/v1for external systems.

| Google Classroom Integration | Import classes from Google Classroom | Google credentials |

| Social Login | Sign in with social accounts | Provider app credentials |
Pro also adds payment gateways for native eCommerce (Stripe, Razorpay, Paystack, Authorize.Net, Mollie and Klarna) and REST API write endpoints.
Page builders and themes
Tutor LMS renders its own templates for courses, lessons and dashboards, so most themes and builders work around them. For Elementor, Themeum publishes a separate Tutor LMS Elementor add-on with widgets; Tutor LMS 4 core also includes compatibility code for the Droip builder. See Tutor LMS with Elementor.
Business tools: CRM, email and automation
Tutor LMS does not ship direct integrations with CRMs or email platforms. There are three ways to connect them:
- A connector plugin. Automation plugins such as Uncanny Automator or the CRM's own WordPress plugin may offer Tutor LMS triggers. Check that they are maintained and support Tutor LMS 4.
- An automation platform. Send Tutor LMS events to Zapier or Make with a webhook and build flows there. Good for low-volume flows that marketing teams want to manage.
- Custom code. Hook into Tutor LMS events and call the tool's API directly. Best for volume, reliability and complex data.
Whichever you choose, start from the right event:
| When | Tutor LMS action |
|---|---|
| A student gains access to a course | tutor_after_enrolled |
| A lesson is completed | tutor_lesson_completed_after |
| A quiz attempt ends | tutor_quiz_finished |
| A course is completed | tutor_course_complete_after |
| A native order's payment status changes | tutor_order_payment_status_changed |
| A new student registers | tutor_after_student_signup |
This example sends a JSON webhook to Zapier or Make when a student gains access to a course. The URL is kept in an option so it is not hard-coded:
add_action( 'tutor_after_enrolled', function ( $course_id, $user_id, $enrollment_id ) {
$url = get_option( 'my_enrollment_webhook_url' );
$user = get_userdata( $user_id );
if ( ! $url || ! $user ) {
return;
}
wp_remote_post( $url, array(
'timeout' => 5,
'blocking' => false,
'headers' => array( 'Content-Type' => 'application/json' ),
'body' => wp_json_encode( array(
'email' => $user->user_email,
'name' => $user->display_name,
'course_id' => (int) $course_id,
'course_title' => get_the_title( $course_id ),
'enrollment_id' => (int) $enrollment_id,
) ),
) );
}, 10, 3 );
A non-blocking request keeps checkout fast, but it does not retry on failure. For business-critical integrations, queue the call and retry. See syncing Tutor LMS with external systems.
Analytics and ads
For Google Analytics 4 and ad platforms, track enrollments and purchases as conversion events. With native eCommerce, the order and payment hooks give you the value and course; with WooCommerce, use WooCommerce's purchase events. See GA4 tracking for Tutor LMS.
Single sign-on and enterprise systems
Organizations often want staff to sign in with Microsoft, Google or another identity provider, and HR systems to create enrollments. SSO is handled by a SAML or OpenID Connect plugin at the WordPress level; enrollments come from Tutor LMS functions or the Pro REST API. See SSO for Tutor LMS.
SCORM and xAPI
Tutor LMS 4.1.3 does not include SCORM or xAPI support. Both are possible with additional plugins or custom development. See SCORM content in Tutor LMS.
