The problem

Enterprise requirements

Large organizations choose Tutor LMS on WordPress for control and cost: their own hosting, their own data, no per-seat licence fees and a platform they can extend. They also bring requirements a small academy never meets: single sign-on with the corporate identity provider, automatic enrollment from the HR system, completion evidence for auditors, data protection reviews and capacity planning for thousands of employees.

We build enterprise learning platforms on Tutor LMS that meet these requirements, with the documentation IT and procurement expect.

  • Identity and access

Employees must log in with corporate accounts, and leavers must lose access.

  • Integration with HR

New hires enrolled automatically, completions recorded centrally.

  • Compliance evidence

Who completed what, when and with what score, on demand.

  • Security and scale

Reviews, data residency and capacity for peak training periods.

In depth

Enterprise architecture on Tutor LMS

Identity

Corporate logins come through SAML or OpenID Connect plugins configured with your identity provider. Users are created or updated on first login, mapped to roles and departments, and deactivated when removed from the directory.

Enrollment automation

Enrollments are created from HR data through Tutor LMS functions or the Pro REST API enrollments endpoint, and completion events such as tutor_course_complete_after send results back to HR or a data warehouse. Every sync is logged.

Reporting

Compliance reports read enrollments, course completion, quiz attempts and certificates. For large organizations we maintain summary tables so manager dashboards stay fast. See custom reporting.

Architecture and documentation

We document hosting, data flows, integrations, backups, access controls and the Tutor LMS and Pro versions in use, so IT can review and support the platform. Updates follow a staging-first process with sign-off.

FAQ

Questions from IT and procurement

Is Tutor LMS suitable for enterprise use?
Yes, when it is hosted, integrated and maintained properly. WordPress powers many large sites; the work is in identity, integrations, reporting and operations.
Where is our data stored?
On hosting you choose and control, in the region you need. Tutor LMS does not send course data to a vendor cloud.
Can you complete our security questionnaire?
Yes. We document the architecture and controls and answer vendor security questionnaires for the parts we build and operate.
