A development team that works on one LMS, in depth
TutorLMS Expert builds, customizes and supports learning platforms on Tutor LMS. We chose one platform so we can know it properly.
Why we focus on Tutor LMS
Tutor LMS has become one of the most capable ways to run courses on WordPress. The free plugin covers courses, lessons, quizzes, a full checkout with coupons and tax, and instructor revenue sharing. Tutor LMS Pro adds certificates, assignments, content drip, subscriptions, bundles, a Gradebook, live classes and more than a dozen integrations. That depth is also why sites run into trouble: there are more than a thousand hooks, around thirty custom database tables and three ways to sell a course, and each choice affects the others.
We started TutorLMS Expert to be the team you call when the details matter. Before writing a guide or changing a client site we check the plugin source: which hook fires after a paid order, where a student's lesson progress is saved, what changed in the version 4 learning area. That habit is the reason our knowledge base names real functions and real tables instead of guessing.
Most of our work falls into four kinds of project: new learning platforms built on Tutor LMS, customizations and add-ons that extend it, integrations with stores, payment gateways and business tools, and ongoing support for sites that need to stay fast, secure and up to date. Whatever the size, the rules are the same: staging before live, no edits to plugin files, and code that belongs to you.
What you can hold us to
We read the code first
Advice and fixes are based on how Tutor LMS actually works in the version you run, not on old tutorials.
No edits to plugin files
Customizations go into a child theme or a plugin of their own, so you can keep updating Tutor LMS safely.
Staging before live
Changes are built and tested on a copy of your site. Students on the live site never see work in progress.
Plain-language updates
You hear what we found, what we changed and what it means for your students, without jargon.
You own everything
Code, documentation and access stay with you. Nothing is locked to us.
Honest scope
If a plugin setting solves your problem, we say so instead of selling development.
How a project runs
- 1
Consultation
We listen, ask about your students, courses and sales, and say what we would do.
- 2
Audit and scope
A written scope with milestones, price and what is out of scope.
- 3
Build on staging
You review progress on a staging copy at each milestone.
- 4
Test and launch
Full checks of enrollment, payments, quizzes and emails, then a planned go-live.
- 5
Support
Ongoing maintenance if you want it, or a full handover.
