The usual suspects for each symptom
After an update
Tutor LMS Pro declares the minimum core version it needs. If one was updated without the other, Pro features stop until they match. Outdated template overrides in the theme are the next suspect: they render old markup that no longer fits the updated plugin. Tutor LMS 4 also changed the learning area significantly, so themes and overrides built for 3.x need checking.
Enrollment and payments
Enrollments are created as pending for purchasable courses and completed when payment completes. With WooCommerce, an order left in processing keeps the enrollment pending; Tutor LMS has a setting to auto-complete course orders. With native eCommerce, a gateway webhook that never arrives leaves the order unpaid. We check the order, the enrollment record and the webhook logs.
Learning features
Quiz submissions, lesson completion and many dashboard actions use AJAX requests protected by a nonce. Caching the pages that create those nonces, or security rules that block admin-ajax, are common causes of failures. Video problems usually come from the source settings (YouTube, Vimeo, HTML5, external URL, embed or shortcode) or privacy settings at the video host.
Our troubleshooting guides walk through each of these if you want to try first.
