Fix where it belongs
Many Tutor LMS bugs on real sites are not in Tutor LMS at all. They are in custom code, a theme override or another plugin. We fix them in that code. If a bug is genuinely in Tutor LMS itself, we work around it in your code and report it to the plugin developer with a clear reproduction, rather than patching the plugin and losing the fix on the next update.
Template overrides
Overrides in your theme's tutor/ folder replace the plugin's templates entirely. When Tutor LMS updates the original, the override keeps rendering the old version. We compare each override with the current template and bring it up to date, or remove it if a hook can do the job.
