Choosing the right integration method
Start with the event
Every integration begins with a Tutor LMS event. Verified examples: tutor_after_enrolled when an enrollment completes, tutor_lesson_completed_after, tutor_quiz_finished, tutor_course_complete_after, and tutor_order_placed and tutor_order_payment_status_changed for native orders. Choosing the right event decides whether the data is accurate.
Plugin, automation platform or custom code
A ready-made connector is fastest when one exists and is maintained. Zapier or Make suit low-volume flows that marketing teams want to edit themselves. Custom code is best for high volume, sensitive data or complex mapping, because it can retry, log and avoid duplicates. We recommend per integration.
Reliability
For business-critical integrations we queue outgoing calls, retry failures, log results in the admin and alert someone when something keeps failing. See our integration guides.
